Nightshade Legacy¶
Nightshade Legacy (version 11.x) is the current stable release of Nightshade. Nightshade NG is our current focus for development.

System Requirements¶
- Memory: 1GB minimum, 2GB recommended
- Processor: Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent recommended
- Graphics: Up to date video drivers and Nvidia, ATI, or Intel graphic chipsets. Intel chipset must be GMA X3000 or later.

Linux users should build from source, although we are working on Debian/Ubuntu and Fedora repositories as a simpler alternative.
OSX users should use the binary package UNLESS you are actively using MacPorts. In that case build from source to avoid conflicts.

If you need assistance with Nightshade as used on a planetarium system, please contact your system vendor for direct support. Otherwise support is available from the Nightshade community below.
